SHOOT PHOTOS WITH WIRELESS REMOTE SHUTTER RELEASE

Photos taken at a large distance from the subject (for example, animal shots), time exposures, self-portraits and many other kinds of shots require not only suitable photo accessories (such as stands and filters), but also sophisticated remote shutter releases. By contrast with the camera’s self-timer function, you can use our wireless remote shutter release to control your shots without touching the camera itself.

WHAT IS DCCS?

The Digital Camera Connecting System (DCCS) is the first multi-component system from Hama. You could also say: one system for all requirements. A variety of camera models can be connected to our DCCSystem Base via a connection cable. You’re now ready to shoot photos with remote shutter release.

FOR CHALLENGING PHOTOS TAKEN FROM A LARGER DISTANCE

If you would like to shoot group photos or self-portraits, or you have to work within a larger range of your subject, you might want to use our ‘DCCSystem’ Base wireless remote release. The smallest vibrations that arise through pressing the shutter release button on the camera are thereby prevented. With the two-stage release button, you auto-focus and then release. A blur-free long exposure without time restriction is possible through the bulb function. The hot shoe adapter on the receiver enables perfect attachment to the camera. The receiver can be positioned on a stand using the integrated 1/4-inch thread. The screw connection ensures a secure fit between the cable and remote shutter release.

CONNECTION MADE EASY

  • Step 1:

    You have decided on the ‘DCCSystem Base’ wireless remote shutter release.

  • Step 2:

    Select the appropriate connection cable for your model. If you work with several cameras, you can quickly and easily change the connection cable.

  • Step 3:

    Connect the connection cable with the screw connection to the remote shutter release and to the camera. The camera normally has an interface for this cable on the side. The connection cable can be bought separately, as it needs to have a different connection depending on camera model.

COMPATBILE WTH A MULTITUDE OF CAMERAS

Our ‘DCCSystem’ Base can be connected with a ‘system cable’ to all cameras from Canon, Nikon Sony, Minolta, Olympus, Panasonic, Leica, Pentax, Samsung, Fuji with remote control. The cable is not included with the remote shutter release. Should you later decide to buy a new camera, the remote shutter release will remain a constant friend. You merely need to buy a new connection cable.

      People, animals, objects and events often change over time. Life continually progresses whether we want it to or not and appearances and behavior can alter rapidly from one second to the next. Therefore, one picture is often not always enough. For example, the rare bird pictured foraging on the forest floor may find food and take-off back to its nest, or the child playing football in the park may go on to score the winning goal for their team. All moments that we don’t want to miss yet a number of photos must be taken to capture the entire story. With the “DCC System” Base Wireless Remote Release from Hama that’s possible.

      Make Sure Time is on your Side with Hama

      Acting as a base, the Hama wireless remote release comprises of a transmitter and a receiver and is quickly and easily connected to the camera using the corresponding cable connection (not included). Separate connection cables are available for all common camera brands with remote control, and are interchangeable so that the release base has compatibility with a huge range of cameras. Ideal if you own more that one make of camera.

      With 2-stage shutter release button (autofocus, shutter release) you can perfect your pictures before you capture them and there is also an integrated timer (4 secs) so you can briefly delay the capture of an image if you so desire Perfect for photographing animals (e.g. a known bird nesting site) behavior or movements whilst keeping your distance (up to 150m!) so you don’t disturb them or for when you want to be in the shot.
