Battery-powered WLAN camera with solar
Camera surveillance for the house and yard, all of it with an independent power supply via the solar panel and WLAN connection. Sounds exciting - and it is. This is because the accessories manufacturer Hama, with its battery-powered WLAN camera complete with motion sensor and external solar module, is unveiling a device that comes with a huge number of features. It sends the filmed images not just via the Hama Smart Home app live to a mobile phone, but also sends an alert if motion is detected via the PIR sensor. The capture angle is an impressive 130 degrees. At the same time, the WLAN camera takes a photo. For better tracking, video recording can also be started automatically - this is then stored either on a 128 GB SD card or in the cloud. All in Full HD 1080p. Motion detection in combination with other smart products is particularly interesting: a camera can be linked with a WLAN LED lamp, for example, or a smart alarm siren. If motion is detected, the exterior light switches on and the siren sounds the alarm. Built-in loudspeakers and microphone also make it possible to communicate using the smartphone like an intercom. Thanks to the solar panel, it monitors areas completely autonomously and charges the batteries at the same time. This means that the camera can work through the night without problems since, thanks to infra-red lighting, it can also see perfectly well in the dark.
